July 18, 2006, Chicago, Illinois: Entertainment Law Chicago client Stellar Road has been chosen as the winner of the WTMX Mix 101.9/Saturn "Have a Nice Gig" contest and will be opening for Bon Jovi on Friday, July 21st at Soldier Field.

The finals were held this past Sunday at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago.  The other finalists were: The Crawpuppies, Broken Vegas, Seth Bradley, and Entertainment Law Chicago client Sherrie Adams.

Stellar Road has dazzled crowds from venues as local as Chicago's Metro to L.A.'s Roxy Theater.  With a relentless tour schedule, the band has earned the respect of thousands of fans all over the country.  A diverse, earthy acoustic mix of songs about love, life and loss has gained them the title "Band of the Year" by "Midwest Beat Magazine".  Other band accolades include “Best Original Band”, “Best Male Lead Vocalist”, "Best Drummer", and “Top 5 Albums of 2004”.
